Prior to joining Myles Culbertson Partners, Pat Lamb established a prominent reputation as one of New Mexico’s leading marketing and public relations professionals.   The span of his distinguished career includes banking, journalism, marketing, public and media relations, advertising, event management, business development, and more, always with a commitment to community service.
 
Early in his journalism career, Pat was Editor and Publisher of the
Telluride Times, a weekly Colorado newspaper.  From there he accepted a position as New Mexico and Wyoming Bureau Chief for United Press International as well as their Capitol Correspondent in Santa Fe.
 
In 1981 Pat took over as Marketing and Sales Manager for
First National Bank of Dona Ana County & Rio Grande Bancshares, in charge of a $500,000 budget and all aspects of marketing, community and media relations, and sponsorship management for a bank holding group serving seven markets in southern New Mexico.  During that time he also implemented the merger integration plan with two new banks into the system.  He later implemented the marketing elements of that bank’s merger with First Security Bank and subsequently created the new operation’s business development program.  In 2000 Pat became the Regional Marketing Director for Wells Fargo’s New Mexico region, and for 11 years managed the broad range of successful marketing programs for the Region’s 140 stores and 60 individual markets, with an annual budget of up to $2.25 million.
 
A partial list of Pat’s volunteer and community service includes NMSU Foundation Board of Directors President, NMSU President’s Associates, American Southwest Theater, Las Cruces Symphony Association, NM Bankers Association (Marketing Chair), Habitat for Humanity, Las Cruces Chamber of Commerce (Citizen of the Year), Las Cruces Public Schools, Blue Ribbon Committee (bond issue chairman), Memorial Medical Center Foundation Board, “Tough Enough to Wear Pink” campaign, and many more.  In addition, he is former coach of the NMSU Rugby Team, and is a licensed hot air balloon pilot.
 
Pat received his BA in Journalism and Political Science from the University of New Mexico, and attended the
UNM Anderson School of Management.  He also completed Bank Marketing Association courses in marketing and finance at the University of Colorado, Boulder.
